Terms and Conditions

These terms cover this website and how quotes and jobs work with Atkins Electrical Contracting, a sole trader business run by Kayden Atkins (ABN 23 380 693 092, NSW electrical contractor licence 403289C) from Dungog NSW 2420.

Quotes

  • Quotes are free.
  • A quote covers the work it describes. If the job changes, or something turns up that couldn’t be seen when quoting, Kayden will tell you and price the change before doing it.
  • Small jobs may be priced over the phone; bigger jobs get a written quote.

Travel and after-hours call-outs

  • Travel is charged by distance from Dungog.
  • A call-out fee applies after hours. Ask when you call and Kayden will tell you what it is.
  • Normal hours are 7am to 5pm.

Payment

  • Payment is by card or cash.
  • Atkins Electrical Contracting is not currently registered for GST, so prices don’t include GST.

The work

  • All work is done by a licensed electrician to the current Australian wiring rules.
  • A Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work is lodged for work that requires one, and you get a copy.
  • Network-side work, such as service mains and metering, may need the network provider and an Accredited Service Provider. Kayden will tell you if your job does.
  • Kayden doesn’t install solar panels or batteries.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded, including that work is done with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Using this website

  • The information on this site is general. It isn’t advice for your particular installation; for that, call Kayden.
  • We work to keep it accurate, but rules and products change. If something on the site differs from your written quote, the quote applies.
  • Photos of jobs are Kayden’s own unless a page says otherwise. Some service pages use stock photos to illustrate the type of work.
  • Links to other websites, such as Google, Facebook or NSW Fair Trading, are for your convenience; we don’t control those sites.
  • The text, photos and design of this site belong to Atkins Electrical Contracting and can’t be copied without permission.
